By reading Project Name, you accept the terms below. They are short.

1. What this site is

Project Name is a publication. We write articles and put them here for people to read, free of charge. We are not a professional adviser and nothing here is a substitute for one.

2. Using our work

Everything we publish — the words, the photographs we own, the layout — belongs to us or to whoever licensed it to us. Quote us, link to us, and cite us: that is what the work is for. Republishing a whole article, translating it, or feeding it into a product without asking first is not covered.

Ask through the contact form if you want to do more than quote. The answer is often yes.

3. What you send us

Send us a tip, a correction or a document and you confirm you have the right to send it. You keep ownership of what you send; you give us permission to act on it, including publishing it, unless you tell us otherwise when you send it.

4. Links to other sites

We link out constantly — it is part of showing our work. A link is not an endorsement, and we have no control over what sits on the other end of it.

5. Availability

We try to keep the site up. We do not promise it. Servers fail, hosts have outages, and occasionally we take things offline to fix them.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from something you read here or from the site being unavailable. Read the disclaimer for the detail.

7. Changes

These terms can change. The version on this page at the time you read the site is the one that applies.
